*This is a a sunset from October 27, 2008. It was taken looking toward Johnson Mountain here in Southeast Missouri USA. Our country is covered with trees and there are few places where you can get a good unobstructed view of the sun setting with out trees blocking the view. Our friend just down the road from or home allows me to drive out in his pasture which is on a high hill and over looks over 30 miles of forest land to take sunset images.
