I have feeders for the wild birds in my yard and on my second story deck here at our home in Southeast Missouri, USA. We are surrounded by woods so in winter the birds make this their main stop all day. Today the feeder was empty, I knew this because this Cardinal and several other birds were coming to the porch roof outside my office window looking in at me like “Hey Man Feed Me!” I now this sounds foolish but it is the truth, they do not usually land here long enough for me to take a picture of them, much less several.
