My Mom grew up in the Ozark Mountains in Northern Arkansas where the Dogwood grows wild in the mountain woods. The Dogwood was always one of her favorites blooms and she tried several times unsuccessfully to transplant one from the mountains to the flat land Mississippi River Delta where I grew up.

When my Mom passed away we had the Dogwood bloom engraved on her head stone. So I guess you can say the Dogwood bloom is also very special to me.*

Rest in Peace Mom!

Magic – - I’m sure your Mum is appreciating your work. What an inspiration to have.

  • Thank you, she was very much my inspiration, she kept me on the straight and narrow but let me learn by making my own mistakes.

  • Oh my, Thank you, I do believe this is the quickest feature I have ever received. This was a special project for me, my mom’s birthday was April 18 and each year at this time I get very nostalgic and think of her so much. Thank you for making this such a special work for me.

that a great combination of the two pictures!!! and everyone will know for years and years to come how special your mom was!! (and grandma). My kids called my mom, Nee-Naw. After reading so much about your mom, I know what a special lady she was, her strength, her love for her children, and her determination!! lovely tribute, my dear friend! b

  • Thank you, thank you and thank you sis. Yes she was very special, I don’t believe I ever heard her say a bad word about any one and believe me she had reason enough to often.
