Wal-Mart advertisement - Best Viewed Large by

With his unique bicycle and his unique appearance centered under the sign I thought he would make a perfect Wal•Mart Ad.

He is a local “Character” around Perryville Missouri, his last bicycle had a small gas engine mounted on the back luggage rack with a hand carved wooden propeller – an Air Bike!

He is looking in my direction but he can not see me. I am inside a car that has heavily tinted windows with my Nikon D40X with a Nikon 300mm VR lens.

LOL, great capture and a great promotional billboard for Walmart. “Don’t care how you get to WAL*MART…just get here”! LOL

  • OMG you are right, I didn’t think of that. Too funny.

If you look at his knees, it appears he hasn’t quite perfected his dismount technique yet!!! A friend of ours would love this! He makes all kinds of weird pedalled contraptions based on bikes. This is a really good pic.

  • Right you are, I hadn’t noticed it but I think he does have a skinned knee. Maybe he isn’t as cool as he thinks.

I was told to never wear sandals because I could get my feet caught in the spokes. My father was very protective when it came to anything that we did. Looks like he needs a parachute to jump off of that bike. Great job on promoting Wal-mart. LOL.

This is just too much fun. The poster child for those who know better but don’t care.

  • This is one of those unique individuals, the bike he had before this one had a tiller motor with a hand carved propeller mounted on the luggage rack – the first air bike!
