This is taken from the second story deck on the front of our home in Southeast Missouri, USA. Our home is the only one on the lake and the lake starts were our front yard ends.
Only once in a great while does everything comes together to make conditions ideal for a image that turns out to be perfect. I think this is the closest I have come in over three thousand sunset pictures taken. I have only saved 1035 of those thousands of sunset photos. This one is my favorite of all those I have ever taken.

Glorious capture, wonderful imagery, fantastic sunset and colours
This is actually a resize of an earlier image, the original was 1280 X 960 megapixels and I resized it up to 2504 X 1844. The original would only load as a card.

I can see myself sitting on the bank drinking a cup of coffee and hearing the sounds of nature settling in for the night. This makes me sigh and think what a lovely way to end the day.
