Sad Reflections

I joined Redbubble March 2008 – nine years ago! I have seen a lot of changes in those nine years. I remember days in the past when I would spend from two to four hours every day making comments and replies to comments to the posts here on Redbubble. I remember many memorable days and events like the day we reached one million views of photos on our page, April 27, 2014. Today I don’t even know how to find the total views any more.…

Today I rarely spend more than thirty minutes a day total making comments and replies. It seems that each time Redbubble Administration made a change it has made people mad and they would leave the web site. Some of those were people whom I had known on a photo web site called Picture Trail, one person who encouraged me to come here and several that I encourage

Rest In Peace Barb C

Barbara Callahan and I became acquainted years ago when we were both members of another photo web site called Picture trail. She came to RB not long after I did and we have been friends here for over 8 years. Barb developed heart problems a couple of years ago and has not been well for some time.

Her page is still up so you can go HERE
to take a last look at her work.

She was a great lady and a great artist and photographer. Many of you will remember her and her works. She passed away on February 21 from her heart illness. She will be sorely missed my many of us here and by her family, husband, daughter and young granddaughter.

Rest in peace sweet lady, we love you!

Here are some of Barb’s works.

We Lost A Friend Today!

We lost a friend today. Pamela L Phelps is a lady I met on Redbubble.com seven years ago. Although Pamela was only an internet friend, who I never met face to face, she was more like a sister to me than a friend. We messaged each other usually several times a day with Redbubble bubblemail. For the last few years we have talked on the phone at least once a week and some times more often. I don’t give my phone number to many of my internet friends but Pamela was more than a friend.…

Pamela has been battling cancer for a long time and she lost her battle today.

If I am a good photographer today I have to give her much of the credit! I would post a photo on Redbubble and I would get a message from her asking me if I was nuts, “Why did you post that junk?” She would then proceed to tell me how

Susan Bergstrom

To our RB friends, our thoughts and prayers need to be with Susan Bergstrom

Susan and her husband Russ suffered a devastating loss on last Thursday. Their Desert Oasis home was destroyed by fire. Susan and Russ are Ok and they rescued their two dogs however Susan lost over 25 of her paintings and Russ lost a fully restored 1973 Mercedes. They lost scores of irreplaceable antiques and family memories that are gone forever. Their home is a total loss. Please keep our friend and her family in your prayers as they go through this traumatic time.

The Million Mile Mark

We joined Redbubble in March of 2008 so I have been here almost daily for five and a half years. Redubble has only been here for six and a half years so not many have been members of RB longer than myself.

Today we reached the One Million Views mark!!

In fact as of this moment we have had 1,000,325 individuals view our work. We have had 8,835 people favorite our work, 51,468 people have commented on some aspect of our work. We have only had 110 sales but we have never actively tried to sell our work so no surprise there.

I began hosting my first Group with Streams and Stream Crossings on April 7, 2008. I now Host and/or Co-host twelve groups.

My association with Redbubble has been a long and for the most part very enjoyable portion of my every day existence. Thank you to every one who

Virus problems

I am sorry my friends but I can not be here much. I have gotten a Trovi hitchhiker virus which has installed itself in my computer registry and put my computer into a loop when every I try to go to any web site. So I can not use that computer. I gave remote access to someone who knows how to do all that but as soon as they tried to remove the Trovi virus it kicked them out. I am trying to keep up with my groups using my IPad. So I am still in limbo for now, sorry.

Welcome a new RB member

Heather is a young lady who is the daughter of a former student of mine. I recently gave her a short photography introduction and tips on her new Nikon D3200. She has an excellent eye and is just starting here on Redbubble so please give her a warm welcome.

Hi guys, please extend a warm Redbubble welcome to a new member, Michelle is one of the ladies in the office where I go for my Orthopedic Doctor.. She is one of the few Redbubble members that I know personally and actually see from time to time so we have a lot of image subjects in common being both from the St. Louis Missouri USA area.
