Tucker and his let me out door bells. by barnsis

Tucker and his let me out door bells.

This is taken from my desk where I sit with my laptop. you can see the bells on the door and how he watches every move I make.

My best bud Tucker is a Welsh terrier, he is so smart it is scary and so stupid it is hilarious. He is my constant companion.

The picture here shows where he lies during the time I am at my desk on my laptop doing my Redbubble addiction.

I put an elastic strap with sleigh bell on the door so he could ring the bells when he wants to go out. Now when he gets tired of me doing RB and not paying attention to him he will go ring the bells then wait for me to get to the door. He then hops on the bed and jumps off the other side and runs in the living room and stands there grinning at me like “HE HE Got You”. He actually looks like he is grinning. It is bad when you have a dog that is smarter than you are. He will get me to fall for it every time, if not he keeps doing it until I do.

Julie has suggested that but as you can see the doors are full length glass with inside shutters so I would have to change a door or cut through a wall. Guess I will just hope he grows out of it as he get older.

He is wonderful. Your story reminds me of my first dog Penny. If I was talking too long on the phone she would fetch a biscuit bone and drop it just out of reach. She wanted the biscuit broken and would give a little whine until I stopped talking to that plastic thing on the wall.
