An old woman beggar in Virupaksha Temple holds her donated coin to her head in thanks to this child tourist who is learning early about poverty in India. I commend the parents of this child for encouraging their child to take notice of a world issue that so desperately needs concern and sensitivity. Still I wonder what went through the child’s mind throughout the experience. Captured in Hampi, Karnataka, India.
