Lol love that you shot police! Were they at all concerned that you were following them with a camera? :)))
well, i had a small point and shoot at the time, so they didn’t know! lol! actually had it stolen sometime later that afternoon, due to my own negligence, but amazingly got it back! never a dull moment, travelling in south america! …then again, these days, with my nikon and the big lens, i’m far more conscious of my camera on the road. all appreciate your kind comments, kylie! :-)) val
Lol I just had visions of you going in to report your stolen camera and them finding it and their shots on it! yeah know what you mean about travelling with obvious gear :))
lol! it’s quite a dramatic street story, actually. never had to report it. had one of the thieves (a small woman) in my tight grip, as i was hollering that she better get my camera back if it takes all night, while a crowd formed and there came back the camera….really surreal experience. more details, of course, but that’s how it ended. after that i just walked, in a cloud of confusion at what had just happened and soon thereafter found myself having a glass of beer with an egg vendor in the middle of a street market! serendipity at its finest! lol! :-)) v.

Even from behind they look rather menancing – wonderful image!
it would appear so, but they were quite friendly when they turned around and we exchanged pleasantries! :-)) val
