Met these 7th grade students at Recess in the park in Nueva Gerona with the rest of their class and their teacher. We chatted it up about schools in Guatemala (where I’m currently teaching in the high school at an international school) and I answered all their questions about my students. They were amazed by the fact that I had been on an airplane for 5 whole hours to get to Cuba. This shot was taken as I was walking by their classroom door and noticed them standing there. Isla de la Juventud, Cuba.
