I prepared a glass plate with solutions of collodion and silver nitrate. While the plate was still wet, I placed it in the camera, exposed it, developed it, and washed it with water, making a negative. When the negative was dry, I placed it directly on a sheet of light-sensitive paper, exposed it to the sun. Finally the paper was developed, fixed, and washed, to produce this photograph of Norwich Cathedral.
Or did I use Photoshop? What do you think? Tribute to Matthew Brady who started taking photos in the 1850’s
Great processing! real sharp look and old feel at the same time. And of course it ISN’T Photoshop, otherwise you would have cloned out the ugly rugby poles, wouldn’t you ;-)
I see that the poles have given the game away :-) I was also lucky that Jessops has a stock of collodion and silver nitrate in the back!!

Thanks Wendi! It’s pixel chemistry! Hey I like that term, I wonder if anyone else has used it?
