Profile

I am an aspiring photographer currently studying digital imaging and english at the local community college. I hope to transfer to HSU in Humboldt County for a degree in photojournalism. I am fairy new to photography, so I am looking to learn, to become inspired, to open my mind, and to take constructive critism from other artists. I am bursting with imagination, I just need to feel the inspiration to push it forth into my photography.

I am currently using a Nikon D80, though I love my old film camera, but I don’t get to use it often anymore since I no longer have access to a darkroom. (and profressional processing is so damn expensive!) I am mostly turned on by surrealism, as well as artsy and abstract portraitures and nudes, and images of unusual elements in nature. I guess you could say I like EVERYTHING interesting!

I have had most of my experience in the darkroom working with black and white photography, however I understand that by involving myself in digital photography and CS3, I am opening my options up to a realm of infinate possibilities. I am currently working on finding my way around the photo shop program and playing around with some of my images. If you like what you see so far, stay tuned!...
