Seasons

As the winter turns into Spring you have to stop and think for a moment about how the seasons are alike in so many ways with our lives. We have 4 seasons; Summer, Fall, Winter and then Spring. As summer starts we hear the laughter of children on swings, slides, etc. and then fall sneaks in on us. With the fall we have so many different scents tickling our senses and the smell of hot apple cider and candy apples being made for all the fall festivities that we go to and cherish with each snapshot of the little ones. Just as Thanksgiving is over and the games have all been played and football is on all the mens tvs we start decorating for the winter holidays. Wow, how nice and festive is that? You look around and you can see the twinkling of all the lights as the dew is glistening upon them. We enjoy this season for so many reasons. For example, the sounds of all the hustle and bustle to get that perfect give for our loved ones or the tasty treats made by all the grandmas, oh how great that pumpkin pie tastes with a nice cold glass of egg nog. As long as it took to wrap those gifts and place them so neatly beneath the tree a new year and a new season comes along. Spring, my favorite of all the seasons. Everything comes to life, the beauty and wonderful, vibrant colors are seen for miles and miles. The windows are open and the smell of the outside is seeping into the inside of our homes and its such a delight! Awww how I long for Spring all year long and once here I savor it.
Just like the seasons come and go so does people in our lives. Sometimes we have some that come and go and then there are times when you didnt even realize how much you are cared for there comes along the right person at the right time to say the right things that make you smile and think to yourself of how lucky you are. What a great season I am experiencing for 2009. I have been blessed with so many great seasons and Ive been able to share these with some pretty amazing friends and oppurtunities (sp, don’t wanna mess with it) that I can’t tell you how it makes me wanna keep writing about it. This is MY season to shine and shine I will and I plan on watering and feeding each of my seasons to ensure they never go. Thank you to all of my friends who make my seasons sparkle and shine!
