The Winter Tree

The Winter Tree

I loved the shape of this gnarled old tree in the fog – I have driven past many times but today it looked special. Taken on Mt Barker Summit Road, Adelaide Hills.

It would be interesting to see a seasonal series of that tree.
It looks like a bonsai(ed) tree.

Yes, really special, and so beautifully captured in the fog. Again, the other trees in the background make its elegant shape even sharper.

This has a special moodiness and beauty. I admire the way you composed it, with the tree off-set to the right, and lovely soft hint of trees in the background. A new favorite. Thanks.
