Nakita.. now her story is strange. She was offered on E-BAY for all of $1!! Her owner was tired of her.. but E-Bay does not sell live animals and when the powers that be heard about this, she was pulled immediately. Nakita is a very small tigress (may have something to do with poor nutrition) but is now a happy lady! She has a nice big enclosure and LOVES TO PLAY IN THE MUD!! I think I have more pictures of her mud covered than any of the other cats.. but she chuffs at me when I come around.. and rubs at the fence to get my attention.
I truly hope that another message comes through.. that these animals DO NOT MAKE GOOD PETS.. that’s why places like Noah’s are in existence. If people would just think before they buy that cute LITTLE cub.. life would be easier on all of us especially the animals. After all.. they didn’t ask to be in the situation they are.. and there are far to many unscrupulous people out there that are in it for the money..
At least with education, we might make a little difference.. even if we save just one animal.. it’s a beginning!!
All proceeds from any sales will be donated to Noah’s Lost Ark Sanctuary for the care and feeding of the animals.

Fantastic Barb……
Amazing work and the story about Nakita.
Lovely work
I am appalled at her story, about Mankind knowing no boundaries on the use and abuse of creatures. How nice to read that she can now enjoy a decent life at the sanctuary. You have portrayed her in all her regal glory and sheer beauty.
Thank you for adding this magnificent lady and the touching narrative along your generous pledge to Art for Conservation.
Thank God someone saved her. Beautiful artwork and a beautiful story.
You are just something so special Barbara. What a glorious work of a gorgeous animal and though her story is indeed sad, I too am thrilled to hear that she now has a good home.
