This is a portrait of the Siberian Tiger that resides at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. They have a breeding pair right now that are the parents of 2 cubs born in 2004, I believe. The male cub was sent to another zoo but the female was kept at Cleveland.
The Siberian Tiger is the largest of the big cats and, as such, is always in serious trouble by various markets using the animals in illegal trade. The sad part is that everything they can get from the cat can be reproduced synthetically.
