Cleveland Zoo, in the middle of February, is not known for having wonderful weather. On this particular day, the sun was out and it was absolutely beautiful. When I came upon the lion enclosure, he was in the perfect position, with his head up.. towards the sun. Once my camera was in the right position.. he looked over at me and I got a lot of good shots. He definitely went to “pose” school and it paid off that day.
There was something about him that just said I had to do this piece..
