Featured in the Group "Our K9 Friends"
Hi everyone. First I would like to thank all of you who sent your messages of support to me about Lu Lu. I am still grieving her loss but each day I hope that it will be less painful. I also what to share with you a story of healing that came as a result of her death. My husband was sharing with someone about our loss and that person has had much loss in her life . She has not been able to cry and morn the loss. When she heard what happened God touched her in a way that finally allowed her to cry and morn what she needed to. Whatever is meant for evil God turn it to use for his GOOD purpose. In speaking with others about her it has opened lines of communication that have previously been shut tight. Who would of thought that one sweet little soul could make such a huge impact.!!!
Now on to what the title of this journal says. I feel very honored that one of my photos has been featured in the group “Our K9 Friends” It is the picture titled “Darlin” She is my mother-in law’s Goldendoodle. Thank you so much to the group leaders for selecting me!!!

Hi Barbara, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I have for 20 years had my animals cremated and incorporated into my garden in some fashion. I have painted each pet’s name on a stone. The name stones are placed throughout our gardens,in the spot we would most commonly find the pet snoozing in. It’s not noticable to visitors (don’t want a creep-out), but to me it is a comfort to be reminded of my old friends in a day-to-day manner. I added Merri’s stone in March, then her partner Bisbee’s stone just last September. You may be interested to know that I adopted “Lulu” later that fall…..Take care and keep your heart open. I read a quote once to the effect that a broken heart can hold much more than an unbroken one. I believe it is true.
