Glorious illicit reunion

Parked in the middle of nowhere,
waiting for you to arrive.
You’re late,
change of heart ?
Won’t leave yet,
I swear I can feel you near.
Is this a mistake?
I could drive away, avoid my potential disaster,
you would understand.
I see you
I’m frozen.
You walk towards me saying something
I don’t know what.
Your eyes sparkle, your lips move,
I hear nothing but your heartbeat.
Your body is fantastic, made for my pleasure.
I can’t stand any more.
“Shut up and kiss me.”
Our lips meet, our tongues dance,
my heart, still for so long, resumes its rhythm.
Your hand strokes my cheek so gently,
My lungs draw breath again.
Our lovemaking, frantic yet gentle.
For so long I was lost in my self-impossed death.
Your presence, words, touch, scent.
Effortlessly you give my soul the strength I need to live
You still love me,
Thank God you still love me .

Sometimes you have to do the wrong thing for the right reasons. If you are lucky it turns out to be an amazing moment in time.

This is full of life and passion, love and life and that is a good thing in my book :o)

  • Thank you. Sometimes past and present collide in a spectacular fashion. Happy that you got what I was attempting to say.

    A sweet reunion. Beautiful.

  • thank you so much. I don’t think words will ever describe the effect he has on me but I keep trying. Even after over two years apart he still has that amazing power.

illicit? to narrow our view is to deny our gift, invented rules notwithstanding. god’s gift I say; anyone else agree? you’ve written (yet I hear as spoken) an immediacy within an eternity; I vaguely remember; am glad for you both.

  • Thank you so much
