I have a new ixus 8 compact digital and this is one of the first pics I took among many. I am just learning how to use it, with instructions from helpful son Doug. This one was a sheer fluke and I have to confess the little fellas (the tweedles) visit most days(old mates) for years, as I put out a few slices of fruit when I see them. However the brush turkeys jump in and grab anything they can.
Thanks a lot Matt but it was just lucky -I was really a bit scared of my wee camera-but aim to get used to it, and act on Doug’s advice—just keep on taking pictures!

Wonderful capture!!!!
Thanks Victoria—it’s all so automatic -almost feel I had nothing to do with it
Now what did you have bribe these two with me thinks? Smooching feathers could be another good title me thinks!
Ah yes, Arcadia I did bribe the gorgeous little smoojers, with a couple of slices of pear. They come and see me hoping for a snack and of course I don’t disapoint them—but don’t overdo it. They also suck honey out of the flowers

Ah yes, thanks walt, the little bush gully is full of wildlife -not all of it so friendly, specially the spiders if you annoy them-which I try not to! Am lazy about painting lately.
