more then 24 ways in which to count in japanese
in English we have 1,2,3,4,5, or 1st 2nd 3rd.
but in Japanese there are way more then 25 ways to count.
my japanese wife could not remeber any more then 25 but she said that there is a lot more..
on a Japanese web site on this topic there where more then a 100 different ways to count
some things they count with diffrent numbers are people, houses,dog,beer,bottles,tofu,rice,fingers,tickets,trains,money and the list goes on..

in English we also have

but when we say there are two beers there. we use the same words but in japanese they will use different kanji.
so the kanjo for beer and the kanki for a number of beers is different. so its still abit different from English.
but your ep of two cottles of beer is close to that i guess.
