macro flower
this is one of my first simi- good macro shots. i have just starting using extension tubes….
so i have truned my 18-70mm (NON macro) in to some thing that gives close to 1:1…but the photo gets soft and this lens is poor when you push the F stop to high.
so my depth of view has been kept small so i can get simi-sharp photos.
I will have the mighty 105 macro in about one month.
if any one knows that name of this flower pls tell me

Softness is not a bad thing in macro if planned it can focus out things you don’t want the eye to go to. This works just fine because the view’s eye goes right to the very crips center.. It’s fine. What F stop are you shooting with, that too will effect the DOF of the shot?

hi….ummmm i forget my F stop now but i think it was in the high 10’s to low 20’s. might have been around 15. i agree with you about softness too. thanks for the comment
