Banba was thought to be the first inhabitant of Ireland. She is also the mother of Ireland and is known as Ireland in poetry. She guards all that live there and is especially important to nature. I painted here as a child in watercolor.

    Thank you! I have sold four prints of this one. It seems to show innocence. I haven’t been able to reproduce it though!
