Sunrise over Cribyn, Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales. by

After camping on the summit of Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in the park, I woke to this glorious view of a sea of cloud swirling around the highest peaks. This temperature inversion meant it was probably warmer at my campsite than it was in the valleys below!

I’d like to say it was extensive research and timing that led to the sun rising almost directly over Cribyn’s brow. It wasn’t, it was pure chance.

I thought you were somewhere else, not Wales and especially the Brecon Beacons. Didn’t think it could be so dramitically beautiful.
