This is a photo montage I took in Shinjuku, Tokyo at about 2am on the night of my 30th birthday. It is an amazing city. I hoped to capture the energetic atmosphere in this piece. I took over 150 photos and put them together after my return home. I am quite happy for the photos to not exactly join together perfectly, to me this gives the piece a more natural feel, and is a reaction against a growing trend of cleanliness in advertising graphic design.
