I discovered this leaf bungee jumping from my verandah roof this morning. The squeals of excitement were what initially got my attention.
The leaf had fashioned a bungee jumping cord from old spiderwebs which are in abundant supply in the verandah region.
As the leaf cannot rely solely on gravity, due to their low weight, they often bungee jump on windy days for added excitement. This morning excellent leaf bungee conditions were in effect with a gentle breeze sweeping through the verandah and the sun out behind the bungee platform.
