You stand strong, firm and with purpose
We yearn to cling to you

You stand like a rock in the middle
Of a swift running stream
Undeterred
Unafraid
Unencumbered
Reaching out for us as we rush by
To snatch us from certain disaster
From certain death
Like a tornado
Bold and majestic, you move along
Taking us with you on a tumultuous ride
Taking us to the home we have strayed from
Where we are protected
And, fear no harm
As we stand around you
We feel your strength
We feel you spirit
And are comforted by you
Protected by you
So firm a grip
We fear no more
