BLOOD GARDENS

Toil and toil
Toil and toil
The blood from my hands
The sweat from my brow
Nourish this garden of my creation.

Very interesting work Paul. I believe that the title an artist gives a work of art is like naming a child. The title has some meaning, often known only to the artist. I’m probably over analyzing this work, but perhaps there is more than meets the eye? Beautiful work.

I like this very much. I can’t say why..because I do not know. I just find the imagery beautiful to look at along with your quote and title, and it makes me contemplate the image more!

  • Paul (Quixote)... replied

Thank you. Its about working hard and trying to accomplish something worthwhile and then finally seeing its completion and fulfillment.
