My Girl Maa Maa
My dog had this beautiful girl back in August of 2007 and she was but a new born babe…... She could barely even walk straight…...He was dragging her up into my yard and I heard the most awful cry you could ever imagine…..... To my shock, it was the beautiful baby doe…...... To make a long story short, my son and I got her from him and rescued her and nurtured her to full health…........ From a bottle fed babe to a grown beautiful doe she is now the most beautiful girl in the world to me…......... almost every night she returns home and I feed her and we hug and play and then she goes off on her merry way….... I pray daily that no harm will ever come to her for indeed she has a huge part of my heart !!!! I named her Maa Maa as each time she calls me that is what she says lol…...... I have a room in my house that is for the beautiful animals in my life of which is many….......Many times she has went into the room and lay down on their loveseat and shared the day with me ! I love you Maa Maa…......... And I always will….......
DONT SHOOT THE DEER MEN…............... It makes me mad and I love em !

I might also add that they are HIGHLY intelligent and very loving…......... I just wish people would give all of the beautiful animals a chance to co exist without facing danger and being afraid…......People just dont have any idea what they are missing when they dont open up to the beauty of the animals and life !

Aw Sis I did the same Thing..I adopted a fawn ..and baby growed so fast ..A ranger came by one day and told me that as soon as she was old enough to turn her loose he come get her..I was so sad..Then my aunt sister told me she lived way out in the country and she take care og baby if i like.So instead of letting the ranger taking her and just dropping her of ..she be out in the country with people who love her…I live as I do now in a small town. She beautiful Sis ..hugggz

Awwwwwwwwww…........... I refuse to let anyone take her…........ at least here I know she can come home at night if she choses and almost every single night she does….... It is just so dangerous though as all these men tend to shoot them ! Grrrrrrrr…....... I pray for her all the time and I know the Lord will keep her safe ! I love your story about Maa Maa Bonita. I’m so glad you heard her cry out and got her from your dog. She is gorgeous! I am so happy for you that she comes to visit and you can hug her. I feed the deer that come to visit my property and I hope to be able to touch them one day. lol I started feeding them to keep them close so the hunters wouldn’t kill them. I had 4 that came all winter. :)) One of them looks pregnant now…so I am hoping. I have to add your beautiful Maa Maa to my favorites. It really is a wonderful thing that you did for her and continue to do. God Bless you!! I hope she will stay safe!

If you keep on they will get more and more use to you! They LOVE loaf bread! You should try that and they love peanut butter too LOL I will always do my best to protect my baby girl! Hi Bonita! I have been buying apples at an orchard not too far from me. I can get the juice ones for 5.50 a bushel. I chop them up in a big bowl and drive them out to the wild (empty) lol apple tree area and I throw them around there for them. I drive out on my mower and when they hear it they come out! I also bought them some shucked corn. hahaha And I bought them some salted peanuts. They love those. I will try the bread and peanut butter. I can’t wait to see Maa Maa when she was a baby. Ginny

Nice picture. My husband and I are always saving animals but we hand them over to the parks people so they can truely be wild and free. Its hard but when an animal is so used to humans they trust all humans and sometimes trust even the bad ones.
Although I doubt a hunter would kill a female deer since they want a trouphy an horns and such. But be fair. I know women hunt too. Its wierd!
