I’m from the West Midlands, UK.
Got my first SLR (a Nikon F60) back in 2001 which sparked an interest in something more than just taking snapshots of family & friends.
Purchased a Canon A95 a couple of years ago as I was tired of lugging an SLR around with me, and had become disheartened with the processing skills of Boots the Chemist!
This turned me onto the possibilities of digital but outgrew the thing after realising it’s limitations. I really got the bug at the start of 2006 when I brought a Nikon D70s: I can’t put the thing down and everything seems to be a photo opportunity (this perplexes friends & annoys my wife).
I’m from quite an industrial area & most of my work reflects this: I tend to photograph the things that I see around me. I aim to have a record those interesting places that are slowly getting knocked down and replaced by sterile modern buildings.
I also have a passion for photographing churches, the moodier the better and I can often be found skulking around in graveyards…
I’d like to sell enough of my stuff to fund my hobby and buy more camera gear: I hope that you enjoy my pictures!
