A Migrant Hawker Dragonfly perches itself on a brach, allowing me to get close enough for a macro shot. Taken at Leighton Moss Wildlife Reserve near Silverdale, Lancashire.

Over the last few years I have become more and more interested in the world of photography. My range of photographic genres vary from wildlife to man-made structures, from the ordinary to the bizarre. I am still quite inept at the technological side of things and prefer to go for a ‘if it looks alright, stick with it’ approach to my photography.

Lovely macro shot, these are amazing creatures especially when seen like this.

  • Thank you! I was happy enough to see it, let alone take a photograph of it.
