How good are the Red Bubble T's, from a print point of view? by Bakword

Is the print good; does it hold detail well; do they survive washes? pros and cons…

i’ve ordered three so far… 2 were excellent on arrival and have held up well since. the other one was a real shoddy print, but hasn’t been made worse by washing.

    i think it’s a tad of a gamble… that wasn’t really helpful was it?

I’ll just throw in an official note before letting the members have their say, firstly you may want to check the buyers booth and see some of the prints.
It can depend on the image, gradients can be tricky, block colours are the best, if they fall into the CMYK colourspace, as for the longevity, well, once correctly fixed, the ink won’t go anywhere, it’s on top of the tee so it doesn’t pil, but have to be washed cold and not tumble dryed.

Obviously if you are ever unhappy with your print you can contact support@redbubble.com and we’ll do our best to sort out the issue.

    Hope this is useful.

I tumble dry my whole wash on low (including my redbubble tees, all six of ‘em – so far), like, seriously low, it takes two hours to dry stuff, but the tees come out ok. All my prints have been top quality, except one. Some of the prints feel real soft, and some feel kinda plasticky, so I don’t know what that’s about, but it’s only the one I have that is different like that.
