Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. The long, serrated ridge on the left is composed of seven main rock towers that rise above 13,000 feet. The feature was so named because wind howls through the gaps between the towers and creates noisy song-like sounds. Mills lake is in the foreground. In the Commemorative State Quarters Series, this exact same landscape represents Colorado on the coin. Camera: Nikon D50. Lens: Nikon DX 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G. Post processing with RawShooter.
