    yeah it’s very similiar to Lychees, and for a while I thought they were lychees until I was corrected by a chef in Chiang Ma

    Yummo ! How this brings back memories. Do you know how rambutan got its name Michael ?
    RAMBUT in Malay means ” hair ”. AN at the end means “with” ........so RAMBUTAN literally means fruit with hair !! Howzatt for a bit of trivia ?????
