Lovely shot – nice sense of design
Michael Bainbr... replied
thank you very much indeed.
gail anderson
what a wonderful and unusual composition!
Michael Bainbr... replied
thanks Gail, when I was taking the shots the first few were more like a snap shot of the Opera House. So I tried to change the composition to get something where people might not realise what it is at first. I was quite happy with this one and 1 or 2 others.

Michael this is a fantastic shot of probably one of the most photographed icons of Sydney.
Very unique and something to be very proud of. Well done.
Michael Bainbr... replied
Cheers Jason, thank you for such kind comments.
Darren Stones
Yes, it’s different and a good use of negative space, Michael. Excellent. Welcome to the AU travel group.
Michael Bainbr... replied
Thank you very much Darren.
Tameika Brumby
I love the colour in this shot, deep blues and whites always look great together. It has a clean sharp look when putting the two together.
Love the composition.
Michael Bainbr... replied
Thanks Tameika, really appreciate your comments there.
Paul Tupman
Such a brilliant and original view of such a well photographed landmark of a building! Your framing and composition is wonderful, really showing off those great curves and I love your use of negative space, making the most of that awesome colour… your processing is spot on!
An instant favourite!
Michael Bainbr... replied
Cheers Paul, yeah certainly one of my most graphic design type images, but then I guess with the Opera House it’s automatically starts to look like that. Thanks so much for the comments mate.

for a national landmark it looks rather daunting or sinister
great shot!
Michael Bainbr... replied
yeah I guess I hadn’t looked at it quite that way. But I like that point of view

Your Opera House shots are insanely creative! It isn’t easy to come up with unique perspectives of such a recognizeable structure, but you have in each shot! Cheers!
Michael Bainbr... replied
Thanks Jeff, what a compliment. Thankyou very much.

Really well controlled. Perfect balance of form, line and shape – is this a composite? If not even better – if yes great creative.
Michael Bainbr... replied
Chears James,
Not a composite was on a boat when I took the shot and haven’t cropped it all, but played around with the colours a bit in Photoshop.
Thanks
