September, 2011 will long be held in my heart and mind as a wonderful opportunity to attend a RB meet in the beautiful country of Denmark…. to meet some of the greatest and nicest members…. to be mingling among the “natives” to see their land and to observe them at work and play…… it was such fun!!!!
This was the day that Jens drove us (Eva, John and me ) about the countryside to show us wonderful scenes of true Danish history and style………. It was an amazing day!!!!
May I present to you my version of The Great Belt Bridge…..
a suspension bridge open for travel between the islands of
Zealand and Funen.
For the most concise information, please go to Jens, (imagic) site and view his capture of The Great Belt Link, shot on the same day during this Bubble meet!!!!
To our surprise, a Tall Ship peered at us from out of the fog…..
This is the best my chosen settings could present for me. I tried earlier when the Tall Ship was further away from the bridge but the fog was still so thick at that point, only thinning out a bit after it went under the bridge and turned south (??) lol
In this shot there are three ships so you can see how important this Great Belt is for travel.
Thank you all for viewing all the images from this great meet from all of our members. We had a marvelous experience….
I hope for the same as you, my friends, venture about, accepting invitations for shooting…….
I would love to initiate one in SW Florida….. anyone interested???
