Naples Bay Sunset by Brenda Dow
The gulf shore of Florida is one of my favorite areas to watch, from a beach, the setting sun. I have ventured many many times with my camera to this coast and every sunset is so individually beautiful….. so unexpected in the thrill of the glow across to the horizon!!!!
Many moments in life are ours for the taking…. may all my RB friends have a special time to find something to feel happiness over…. to find glory in….. to belong to…..

Naples Bay Sunset
Warm breeze blowing across the sand
sending a cover of calm
Peace….. bliss…. wistful imaginings
hearing the swish of the palms
Waiting and waiting
for there is a true time
for this event to happen.
Anticipation rampant, as the walkers stop to stare,
willing to pause for this moment
There’s awe in the air
and the sound of the gulls
as the sun drops over the edge
A promise exudes from the hearts
of the onlookers
“I’ll be back!” is the common pledge.
