seems like she’s given up on seeking solace from inanimate object.. don’t seem too much in pain to me, as she still looks up.. seems like she’s still hopeful.. but then again, that’s just my opinion.. love the painting.. n_n

The tilt of her head is just right to keep us guessing. It’s a very good paining, I think, the composition creates drama and lots of intersest.
