I took this photo ca. 1985, sitting by a pondside near Karlsruhe, SW Germany.
Camera: Olympus OM2N, Novoflex bellows and macro lens, Metz 45CT flash
The macro lens is stopped way down (f/16 or less, don’t remember), so the background is dark although it was bright sunlight.
This photo is one of a few that came out well from my point-and-shoot technique.
Most of the dragonflies are out of focus or frame, about 2% come out well.
