Grotto Falls

By this time of day the sun was getting really hot. I had to put the filter on in order to get the effect of the water I wanted. I always shoot in Manual mode with my waterfall pictures.
I used selective color and curves to enhance the effects. I try to get the water as highlighted as possible without losing much detail and keep the contrast at a high level. I tried to use the rocks to frame the picture, let me know what you think about this technique.

Oh, my gosh, Kevin! When I saw this one, I thought it was mine at first. Your’s is a slightly different angle, a closer crop, and includes another rock on the left. I really like your composition. Interestingly, yours was taken just days after mine (5/9/2007). I love seeing how other people photograph the same subject. A favortie for me, Kevin!
