For me, it started with a point and shoot camera and the
realization that a seemingly ordinary object could come to life through the camera lens. Using the macro photography technique, a butterfly with it’s wings spread
or, a tiger lilly, closed in the shape of a bow, became bigger than life. A dead tree becomes a haunting work of art and natures natural beauty in a cloud reflected
on the hood of a hot rod creates a spectacular image. A
photo of an abandoned 1940’s flat bed truck can tell a
story that is limited only by the viewers imagination.
I find myself, now, looking at things differently—always
looking for my next creation.
