Clara Bow the original it girl by

This portrait was inspired by my first portrait of a silent movie star Theda Bara.

It was drawn and painted using Corel Painter Essentials.

Clara Bow Clara was an American actress who rose to stardom in the silent film era of the 1920s.

Her high spirits and acting artistry made her the quintessential flapper and the film It brought her global fame. Bow came to personify the roaring twenties and is described as its leading sex symbol.

As a child I always had a pencil in my hand and I loved drawing in particular fashion and people.

I am completely self taught love to draw using charcoal, pencil and water colour. Just recently I have explored digital art and I love it.

Portraits of people and animals are my favourite things to draw.

I welcome any enquiries for commissioned pet portraits, invitations, cards and other art work. Thank you for viewing my art work.
