The Knowing that somebody has changed but a refusal to acknowledge it. Humans have a tendancy to wish and hope for things to remain as they once were. We create memories and feelings and associate them with enhanced positives creating a veil over the memories.The reality often is, things have changed dramatically.This is just a glimpse at how we perhaps should perceive that person on a physical level when this happens. The mirror does not lie to us because we cannot lie to ourselves. Sentimentality should be thought of a luxury, only to be indulged in when complete boredom strikes!
