When I uploaded this shot the first time, I realized that I didn’t tell you the story of how I came to have this wonderful, gentle girl in my life. She was a stray. She had been declawed and unable to protect herself. Grossly underweight, and badly beat up, she entered my home and my life. As you can see from this amazing picture, she is no longer underweight, underfed, or under loved. I call her Gracie, because it was by the grace of God that I found her.
This was taken with my new Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM lens on my D50. I am so thrilled with the quality of the shot taken with this lens

I see she’s got the look of determination! She’s beautiful! Thank you for your comment about Oscar & the door. I have to share this one with you too:

She most certainly does, doesn’t she? At this moment, I was sitting on the floor, right next to the door with my camera and she was looking at me from the countertop.

Stunning capture!
Thank you so much! She is really hard to capture because of her coloring, and I took this with my brand new 50mm lens. This is really the first image that I took of her that you can see any definition of her fur.

So precious. She looks like Leia, my youngest kittie, who was found (along with her sisters) in the campus of one of the local universities. Thank you for taking her in and giving her a second chance.
D,
Thank you for looking at my work. Believe me, giving her a home and a second chance was easy. She is so sweet and loving, I couldn’t ever imagine my home without her.
