When I decide to do something, I jump in with both feet. So at first, I got an Olympus E-510, but when I got hired to shoot a wedding, someone said it would be a good Idea to have a back up. God forbid I should take pictures and have my camera body break or drain a battery or something! I was actually having nightmares about everything that could possibly go wrong. I mean these are peoples memories that we’re talking about right? So I went out and got a Canon Rebel XTi. LOVE IT!
I ended doing pretty well with the wedding pics and the bride was happy and that is what matters, but I made a lot of mistakes and learned quite a lot as well. I am really looking forward to doing more weddings. This is such a wonderful expressive hobby, I feel very happy when I have the camera’s in my hands. I hope you can relate.
