Elizabeth-Babeth MATHIS

I was born in France and I am an artist photographer who settled for 22 years in London.
I am now back in my natal France in the French Riviera (Nice). I am a graduate of Westminster Art school since 1993 ( H.N.D and BTEC in photography).
I had numerous photographic exhibitions in both London and France.
My previous work , predominantly in black and white, covered live performances at many renowned venues.
Now, with the age of digital, I play with contrast, erases the non-essential to display lines, forms and curves, to capture a shade, an emotion or a moment with strong texture and colors.
My pictures focus on sudden motion .

It is with the soul that we grasped the essence of others, it is with my the photos that I want to feel the essence of humanity.
