Sciences Naturelles… the next test?

This young lady is in deep thought… Captured in 1975 at the pizzeria “the Duchess Ann” around the corner from the Lycée Français de New York on East 95th St, possibly during the last week of high school.
Canon Ftb, 50mm lens, B&W Kodak film ASA 400, processed at home. I do not recall ever printing this beautiful portrait. Negative scanned at 4600dpi. Some levels in CS2 with minor retouching. The film was in good condition :-) The girl is Amy M., her expression mirrors my experiences and feelings of the Lycée at the time.

I keep coming back to this. Reminds me of being asked to ‘coach’ a former (“girl-”)friend, by her mother, MANY years ago.
Was the coaching challenging… and successful?! Thank you, MrJoop, for stopping by and commenting :-)

No. Not really. Strange situation. Wanted her to be my girlfriend – not my student. :) (Was first and only “date” for the first dance, at Maroubra Bay High School. Also came to the first graduation dance/ball of Teachers College. She DID move on and was – I guess – successful. :)
captured the expression perfectly Baina…I know we have all felt like that at times when at school…a lovel crisp clear photo! :)
Thank you Linda… and thank you for the fave :-)))
