We launched leggings! Step into a world of individuality.

I met up with Trevor Kersley on a rather wet and grey morning and we visited one of my favourite locations Fleetwood Marsh on the tidal River Wyre close to the town of Fleetwood Lancashire to go shoot ‘The Wrecks of Fleetwood Marsh’.

These boats were decommissioned from the Fleetwood Fishing Fleet with the demise of the fishing industry and grounded on the tidal estuary of the River Wyre in sight of their home port of Fleetwood, Lancashire.

Hand held 3 shot HDR processed in photomatix with curve and other adjustments including topaz filter in photoshop.

Nikon D5000 Sigma 10mm-20mm @ 20mm. ISO200 f 5.6 1/60 e/v +-2.

John enjoys capturing images mainly around his home in the North West of England with a leaning towards land and seascapes. John also enjoys using modern processing techniques designed to give images a more in-depth feel to them. John is happy to discuss individual customers image requests.

Great compostion and the dark, brooding clouds highlight the sad wreck of this once beautiful fishing vessel !!

  • Thanks Mattie for your comment. Those brooding clouds decided to rain on us 10 minutes later!
