Self Portrait.
Portrait photography is an area that takes me totally out of my comfort zone but as I want to try and be the best I can be at photography I need to ‘grasp the nettle’. I hate having my picture taken and much prefer to be behind the camera… so here’s me by me!
Single image. Converted to b&w in lightroom,
Nikon D5000 Sigma 70mm-300mm lens @70mm. ISO 200, f4.0 1/500.
Natural light – taken in a conservatory with the blinds closed to defuse the direct light. No fill flash used.
John enjoys capturing images mainly around his home in the North West of England with a leaning towards land and seascapes. John also enjoys using modern processing techniques designed to give images a more in-depth feel to them. John is happy to discuss individual customers image requests.
