Ja, jedes Dorf hat meist mehrere kleine Moscheen! Vielen Dank für Deinen Besuch und die netten Kommentare!
A most interesting insight into village life in rural Turkey made moreso by your excellent photography. The depth of field and sharpness throughout the image is extremely good and the placement of the minaret could not be better as its top catches the eye and gives the image a good focal point.
It may be my monitor and/or my ageing eyesight but I feel the image is a little “flat” – quite understandable under those conditions – and may benefit from a bit more saturation and contrast. (Just a thought).
As I studied the photograph I was encouraged to see that though this village is in the country modern amenities are there to make life better. I noted the loud speakers on the minaret and the satellite dishes in the foreground.
Very well documented.
Thank you very much for your interest and detailed comment on this photo, Dennis. The conditions when i made this photo were not so easy, because it was a very cold day and i could not really feel my fingers.
Yes monitor views can be different, but photos are looking sometimes here in the portfolio little different after uploading (especially contrast), than on other websites.
Most of the villages have electricity, so also satelite television may work. The loud speakers on minaret are used 5 times a day for calling for prayer and also for important information to the community, e.g. when somebody died. If the winter is hard with a lot of snow, the roads to higher villages are often closed and sometimes also electricity is not working well.
jensI was intriqued by some choosing fairly bright colros for their homes, making the winter scene a bit more festive.phil
Thanks for your comment Phil! Usually the village houses have natural colors from stones and clay, but in this village are some houses, which are more colorful.
Another beautiful cityscape….Jens! I just love the old style builds in your images!wtg
